CCR Block, Mechanical Equipment Installation

Leighton Asia was involved in the installation of mechanical equipment for the continuous Catalytic Reformer Unit (CCR) as part of the extensive increase in capacity at the Jurong Refinery in Singapore.

Work was confined to the CCR unit and some off-plot units included Tray installation and dressing of vessels and reactor. 

Mechanical installation included installing over 130 pumps in the CCR and the existing pumps, commissioning the compressors, installing air heat exchangers (fin fans), various vessels and the site assembled heaters with duct work and refractory.
