Brunei International Airport Extension Terminal Building

Leighton Asia delivered a major extension to the existing airport terminal, constructing a multi‑level semi‑circular satellite building positioned in front of the original terminal. 

The new satellite featured air bridges capable of handling six aircraft simultaneously and provided a passenger‑handling capacity of 1.5 million per day.

As part of the works, the existing terminal was fully refurbished, with new baggage‑handling systems, public information systems, security‑screening facilities, and fire‑detection systems installed to modernise and enhance overall airport operations.
