Tuen Mun Reclamation

In the 1960s, Tuen Mun was identified for a new town development as part of the Government’s strategy of decentralisation of urban development 
from the congested areas.

This major marine contract created 35 hectares of land from Castle Peak Bay for public housing, industrial buildings and community facilities.
