Tanjung Bin 4 Power Plant

Leighton Asia delivered critical marine and civil works as part of a 1,000 MW extension to a coal-fired thermal power plant, increasing its total capacity from 2,100 MW to 3,100 MW. 

The scope of works included the design and construction of a cooling water intake and pump station and a 1.65-kilometre offshore culvert structure. 

Project involved marine piling, dredging, offsite manufacture, marine delivery, installation, grout sock seals, rock armour protection, outfall diffusers, and navigation markers.
