Permanent Aviation Fuel Facility

Leighton Asia’s early involvement included the design of a 280-metre off-loading jetty, and associated facilities, capable of accepting two 6,000 DWT vessels for efficient fuel transfer operations. 

This enabled critical operations of off-loading and transferring 40,000m3 per day of aviation fuel. 

The advanced pipelaying involved the deployment of two 6 km-long, 20-inch (500 mm) diameter submarine pipelines for reliable fuel transport infrastructure.
