What inspired you to pursue a career in the construction and engineering industry?
Driven by a strong architectural background that adheres to ‘form follows function’ principle, I am inspired to bridge the gap between conceptual design and physical execution, translate design concept to executable project specifications and delivery programs.
As a woman in construction industry, what support from Leighton Asia helps you to grow professionally and advance your career?
Leighton Asia has been instrumental in supporting my professional growth through its inclusive culture, commitment to equity and belonging, and strong focus on continuous development. Its respectful and professional work environment empowers me to contribute with confidence, while access to training, structured processes, and career development opportunities has helped me build my skills and advance my career in the construction industry.
How do you see the role of women evolving in the construction industry over the next decade?
I see women taking on greater leadership, technical, and project delivery roles across the construction industry. As technology continues to transform the sector, more opportunities will emerge for women to contribute to specialized and strategic areas. I also expect stronger industry support through inclusive policies, mentorship, and career development programs, helping more women advance into senior leadership positions.
