Our teams at the Pomalaa Project in Indonesia conducted the Women in Construction and Engineering: Back to School programme at SMAN 1 Kolaka, introducing students to explore the diverse opportunities in the construction and engineering industry.
From introducing Leighton Asia’s operations to discussing their own career journeys, our women colleagues offered students a firsthand look at the various opportunities within the industry. They shared their own experiences and how capability, determination and willingness to embrace new challenges can lead to a rewarding career.
Through engaging discussions, students gained a deeper understanding of the industry and its many career pathways. The programme aims to inspire students to explore careers in construction and engineering industry, while encouraging more young women to see this sector as a place where they can thrive.
Leighton Asia is proud to support local communities by creating opportunities for students to learn from industry professionals.
