As part of our commitment to developing future ready professionals, Leighton Asia invests in learning experiences for Graduate Engineers that extend beyond traditional site-based roles.
Through our Graduate Program, participants build their capability by undertaking a series of placements of up to three months across different teams and projects.
Recently, one of our graduates expanded their construction and project management experience by joining our engineering consultancy team in Malaysia.
During this placement, they gained a clearer understanding of the differences between main contractor and consultancy roles, strengthening awareness of engineering responsibilities across project functions. Exposure to structural engineering practices, including design development support and technical reviews, further contributed to a broader, more well-rounded industry perspective.
We extend our appreciation to the Malaysia team for their mentorship and collaboration. Looking ahead, we will continue to expand job rotation opportunities that support meaningful learning and the long-term development of our Graduate Engineers.
