Completed in 2018, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Passenger Clearance Building (PCB) is a key gateway to the Greater Bay Region, connecting Hong Kong, Zhuhai, and Macao. In partnership with our joint venture partner, Leighton Asia, delivered this landmark infrastructure through advanced construction techniques.
The roof fabrication and erection methods for the PCB were the first of its kind in Hong Kong. The waveform roof, inspired by the undulating waters, was built using large-scale prefabrication, ensuring efficiency, safety, and high construction quality.
The PCB also features a district seawater cooling system, reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions, supporting Hong Kong’s sustainability goals.
At Leighton Asia, we remain committed to innovation, sustainability, and delivering infrastructure that enhances connectively.
