A visit by members of the Leighton Asia team to the Thiess Remote Operating Centre in Jakarta, Indonesia, has provided an opportunity to share knowledge and innovations.
Francesco Tizzani, our Group Manager for Information Systems and Digital, and Simon Burley, Operations Manager for our Indonesia business, together with other members of our team saw first-hand how Thiess optimises mining operations.
Thiess provided a real-time display of efficient and centralised data management which results in effective decision-making, enhanced resource deployment and overall operations.
