Invited by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) Manila for the second consecutive year, Leighton Asia is proud to present our Asian Development Bank (ADB) experience at the 2024 Australian Mission to the ADB Business Opportunities Fair.
The event successfully took place at the Australian Embassy in Manila and was attended by the representatives to 20 Australian organisations in earlier this month.
David Dunworth, our General Manager – Philippines and India, shared key insights, best practices, and experiences gained from working with the Asian Development Bank across various project phases, highlighting Leighton Asia's involvement in the ADB-funded North South Commuter Railway Project, where the company successfully secured two contract packages through ADB's procurement process.
The event also featured representatives from multilateral banks, aid agencies, and government entities, who spoke on a range of topics aimed at helping the Australian delegation identify business opportunities and understand projects funded by international financial institutions.
