Leighton Asia was pleased to welcome Professor Anusha Shah, the President of Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), to our Tseung Kwan O – Lam Tin Tunnel (TKO-LTT) project recently.
Professor Shah had a guided visit of the Lam Tin Interchange, and was driven through the 2.2km-long tunnel arriving at Tseung Kwan O Portal.
She expressed her appreciation for our contribution to the community, including mitigating the project’s environmental impact by using control measures during construction such as temporary and permanent noise enclosures.
TKO-LTT showcases Leighton Asia’s ability to deliver large scale, sustainable infrastructure in congested urban areas. It also demonstrates our contribution to a circular economy by recycling and reusing materials, biodiversity improvements through planted and landscape areas, and our alignment with UN sustainable development goals in delivering construction excellence.
We are committed to building a sustainable future with our partners and stakeholders. 🌍
