Colman is the General Manager for Leighton Asia’s Hong Kong Business. With more than 25 years’ experience, Colman has a strong background in construction and has led large-scale projects across civil, building, energy, infrastructure, process and other sectors.
Colman has held senior positions in complex civil infrastructure, building, railway, aviation, and healthcare projects in Hong Kong, renewable energy infrastructure in the Gobi Desert, as well as tunnel works in Australia and Himalayas, and other major projects across South East Asia. He is a Fellow Member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers and Member of various engineering institutes in the United Kingdom.
Strategy and Corporate Initiative Director
Alfred is the Strategy and Corporate Initiative Director of Leighton Asia’s Hong Kong business. Alfred has over 35 years’ experience in the construction industry and has held senior management positions with a strong background in business transformation.
Alfred was the Strategy and Development Director at Leighton Asia’s Hong Kong business during 2009-2013. He is a Fellow Member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, the Hong Kong institution of Highways and Transportation, the Hong Kong Institution of Construction Managers, a Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and a Registered Professional Engineer (Civil). He is currently the Vice President of the Hong Kong Institution of Highways and Transportation and a Member of the Pneumoconiosis Compensation Prevention Fund Committee. He is also the Chairman of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers’ Quality Control Committee and plays multiple key roles in the Construction Industry Council’s Construction Workers Registration Board.
Business Development Director
Appointed Business Development Director of Leighton Asia’s Hong Kong business in 2014. Barry has over 35 years of extensive experience in project management and construction management for commercial, residential, hospital and government buildings.
Barry is a registered professional engineer and construction manager. He is the Vice President and Chairman of the Building Committee of the Hong Kong Construction Association. He is a Member of the Development Bureau’s Building Contractors Committee and Joint Management Committee on DRADs, and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council’s Infrastructure Development Advisory Committee. He is also a Director of the Hong Kong BEAM Society.
Head of Pre-Contracts
John is the Head of Pre-Contracts of Leighton Asia, he leads the Pre-Contracts department and is responsible for winning work in Hong Kong and supporting the region.
John has 33 years’ experience in the construction industry in Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi and the United Kingdom. Specialised in managing technical and contractual risks in tendering, he was involved in large-scale projects including the Tsing Ma Bridge, Ngau Tam Mei Water treatment works, MTRC stations, Tin Shui Wai Hospital, the Liantang Boundary Crossing Facility and Tseng Kwan O-Lam Tin tunnels. He is a Chartered Civil Engineer with the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers and Institution of Civil Engineers.
Colin is the Executive Director for Leighton Asia’s business in Hong Kong. Colin has more than 30 years’ engineering experience spanning mega scale international building and civil engineering projects in Hong Kong, the United Kingdom and the Middle East.
His experience has encompassed hospitals, railway stations, high-rise buildings, tunnel construction (both Tunnel Boring Machine, and Drill and Blast), cavern construction, oil and gas, and power stations. Prior to joining Leighton Asia, Colin held successful leadership roles in large multinational corporations, gaining extensive experience as a contractor, specialist contractor and client.
Jan oversees Leighton Asia’s businesses in South-East Asia, including Philippines and Indonesia, and our tunnel operations in Hong Kong. He is the President Director of PT Leighton (Contractors) Indonesia.
Jan has over 24 years’ civil engineering experience with expertise in the management of major scale civil infrastructure projects including specialist bridge, tunnel, rail and road design and construction. He has overseen the delivery of a range of technically challenging infrastructure projects, in Hong Kong and overseas.
Head of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Projects
Eric Chan is the Head of MEP and oversees the operation and expansion of Leighton Asia’s MEP business in Hong Kong. Eric has 30 years’ experience and has held several senior positions in the electrical and mechanical industry.
He has a strong track record of providing complete turnkey solutions (including product offering, solution development, engineering/installation and operations management) to service businesses across Hong Kong, China and North East Asia.
Seto Sai Hung
Seto is the Finance Director of Leighton Asia. He leads the Finance and Risk Management function of the Hong Kong and South-East Asia businesses.
Seto has over 15 years of experience in the construction industry. Prior to joining the construction industry, he specialised in initial public offerings, and merger and acquisitions. Seto is a Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Head of Commercial
David is the Head of Commercial of Leighton Asia’s Hong Kong business. He has 30 years of experience in the construction industry with a strong background in managing commercial and contractual aspects of large-scale civil and building projects in Hong Kong.
Prior to joining Leighton Asia, David has held the role of a corporate General Manager (Commercial) in a listed Group C Contractor in Hong Kong. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Quantity Surveying, and a Master of Arts Degree in Arbitration and Dispute Resolution. David is a qualified professional quantity surveyor.
Senior Legal Counsel
Preston is the Senior Legal Counsel of Leighton Asia’s Hong Kong business. His advisory works extend across business functions and include tendering and procurement, contract administration, dispute resolution, human resources, health and safety, risk and governance, and corporate transactions.
He has over 15 years of civil engineering and legal experience in Hong Kong, Mainland China, the United Kingdom, Singapore and other jurisdictions. Preston was a Chartered Civil Engineer before specialising in construction law in his legal profession.
