Completion of Exhibition Centre Station marks the successful collaboration between MTRCL and Joint Venture

Every project has a unique story to tell – for the Exhibition Centre Station and Western Approach Tunnel project, our team delivered this complex underground project under a high-density urban environment and challenging geological conditions. One of which includes discovering three World War II-era bombs weighing over 450kg each during the excavation work.

The completion of the station was the result of a fantastic effort by all the parties behind it. Our joint venture project team has worked collaboratively with MTR Corporation Limited to ensure the successful delivery of this key infrastructure, which brings excitement and long-term socioeconomic benefits to the people of Hong Kong.
