We
provided test pit services to generate bulk samples of nickel ore for
analysis. We used a primary rock crusher to crush 20,000 cubic metres of rock
for use as road base around the test pit and then proceeded to excavate,
weigh, crush and sample split nickel ore from a 100-metre-by-100-metre test
pit. The products totalled 159,000 cubic metres and were stored in stockpiles
of topsoil, limonite, saprolite and rock material. Back
