Hong Kong was hit by widespread flooding last Friday, caused by the heaviest and record-breaking rainfall in over 140 years. Flash floods turned roads into raging rivers, triggered landslides and halted public transportation.

Leighton Asia mobilized an emergency response ‘Construction Volunteer Team’ in conjunction with the Construction Industry Council and the Development Bureau. The team is clearing debris and mud from roads and pavements, helping local communities to safely resume daily activities as soon as possible.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to workers and volunteers, and everyone for your unceasing efforts to clean up after the rainstorm. Hats off to your hard work!
